Buses, coaches, vans play a very important role in social cohesion, helping people, especially those on low incomes, handicaps, not driving people to access places of education, such as schools, universities, etc; work places; resorts for recreation; health care places and many ohers.
And these are often the only options for people who do not drive, have disabilities or live in remote areas.
The key link in the mobility chain is often the bus or the coach that takes you to your final destination, once you get off a plain, train or cruise ship.
